About the UNYP Library

The University of New York in Prague Library is centrally located at Londýnská 32, and has around 17,000 books, periodicals, and audio/visual materials (most in English, with a few foreign-language holdings).

Apart from textbooks it has a growing collection of fiction books as well.

The main library area holds 22 PC spots, 4 photocopiers, 8 comfortable bean bags as well as a stationery corner with staplers, pens, scissors etc., available to the students at all times.

This all makes the library an excellent place to study, and work on assignments!

Project Meeting Rooms

The UNYP Library has two brand-new project meeting rooms available to all students. If you need a quiet space for your group project or presentation, please, do not hesitate to contact the library and schedule your session!

The project meeting rooms are equipped with smart touch displays and can accommodate up to eight people.

Study Room

On the first floor of the library is the new quiet study room which accomodates additional 32 individual study spots and is equipped with W-Fi and Czech/English magazines and newspapers.

Hospodářské noviny, Respekt, Ekonom, Reflex, Marketing & Media, The Week, The Economist, Fortune, Československá psychologie, Business Spotlight, Deník N, Taiwan Review, Aspen Review.

Online library resources

Online library resources are available to all UNYP students through the ProQuest 5000 International set of databases and MarketLine. The ESC online library is available to students through our partner university.

With The Empire State College online library students can access approximately 60,000 electronic books and tens of thousands of journals in electronic form.
