As part of UNYP’s dual degree program, you have the opportunity to choose a concentration and graduate with two accredited bachelor’s degrees: one from SUNY Empire State University in the USA and another that is accredited in the Czech Republic from UNYP. Your chosen concentration will be fully recognized under Czech accreditation and will be reflected in your final degree supplement. The dual degree program requires four years to complete.

Study Abroad and Credit Transfer for International Students

UNYP welcomes study-abroad students and transfer applicants who wish to complete their degree in Prague. If you have already begun your undergraduate studies elsewhere, our Admissions team can guide you through the process, helping you continue your education in Europe while earning a degree from an American university abroad.

Moreover, transfer students may have their previous coursework evaluated for U.S.-accredited credit transfer. Once approved, these credits can be applied toward your bachelor’s degree, allowing you to save both time and tuition costs.

In addition, UNYP offers semester- and year-abroad programs for students from around the world. Through these options, you can study in Prague at an English-speaking university, earn recognized academic credit, and at the same time experience one of Europe’s most beautiful and culturally rich cities.
