How to land an EU career when all you do is avoid learning about the EU?

How does one end up in Brussels for a five month traineeship and stays years? Why is Brussels a good option not only for lawyers and political scientists?

What are the ups and downs of the “Brussels bubble” and what are the traineeship/job opportunities you can land? Join my talk to find out.

SPEAKER:

Lucie Nuño Čadová graduated in 2012 from Mass Media and Communication with a minor in International Relations. She studied her Masters in Political Communication at the Leiden University in the Netherlands. Lucie completed several policy oriented traineeships at international organisations before starting to work for the EU institutions. She was the Social Media Manager at the Council of the European Union for five years working with the rotating presidencies and advising the President of the European Council. She ran the Council’s most successful campaign to date, which she also presented at international conferences. Currently Lucie is the Head of Press and Communications for a Member of the European Parliament.
