Goran Bezanov

Dr. Goran Ilija Bezanov was born in Belgrade, Serbia and moved to the UK. 1977 in order to pursue further education. Goran graduated with a B.Sc. in Engineering from Oxford Polytechnic and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Power Electronics from Brunel University, UK. From 1993-2015 Goran was a full time lecturer at London Southbank University, he was also Head of Division of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has over 27 years of experience in research, development and teaching in the area of electrical machines and power electronics as well as embedded control systems. His research work includes energy converters and drives, embedded control and robotics as well as software applications in complex control systems. He is the author of a number of textbooks dealing with the subjects that he teaches. Dr. G. I. Bezanov is a professional consultant for MiG Consulting Ltd on a range of topics to include computer networking infrastructure solutions, embedded control systems, electrical machine drives and wind power generation projects.
