Hilary Kloss

Dr Hilary Kloss (Cahalane) D. Clin. Psych, University of Liverpool, UK M. Crim. (Master of Criminology), University of Sydney, Australia BA Psychology (First Class Hons), Trinity College Dublin, Ireland Dr Kloss is a chartered and registered Clinical Psychologist, advanced accredited Schema Therapist and clinical supervisor working in private practice in Prague. She is also a consultant psychologist at Canadian Medical and provides psychoeducational assessment services to international schools in Prague. She currently teaches Introduction to Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy and Special Psychopathology on the MPS programme. She also offers electives in Forensic Psychology and Introduction to Schema Therapy. She trained as a clinical psychologist in the UK and was working as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the National Health Service there before moving to the Czech Republic in 2013. Her clinical interests are in the areas of complex adult mental health, personality disorder, and forensic psychology. In clinical practice she specialises in treating personality disorder. Her research interests are in forensic psychology and she has published and presented research internationally in the area of sexual offending.
