Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition

The 2016 Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition took place on Tuesday, May 3rd. Visitors had a unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful art work as well as traditional Chinese food. 

Students from the Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy course, taught by Natasha Sutta, exhibited samples of their calligraphy and paintings that were completed with a special Chinese calligraphy brush. Students also presented their most recent findings about China and explained them within the historical and cultural context. Visitors enjoyed authentic Chinese dumplings and green tea while discussing the art of Calligraphy.
