Jeff Medeiros receives UNYP Alumni of the Year 2022 Award

This year the 2022 Alumni of the Year award was announced at the UNYP Alumni Reunion and that title was given to Jeff Medeiros, MBA graduate from 2012. The Alumni Reunion finally after a two-year break. UNYP was proud to welcome back over 200 UNYP alumni. We believe that rewarding one alumnus or alumna every year is an important part of keeping our alumni network engaged and connected to the UNYP community.

So many of the UNYP and SUNY/ESC Alumni have gone on to change the world in many areas on a local and global scale.

Jeff Medeiros (MBA in Information Systems, class of 2012) has earned the Alumni of the Year Award 2022 in part due to his ongoing involvement and dedication to the UNYP community, as he is a member of the UNYP and SUNY, ESC faculty that continually returns to share his knowledge and expertise with UNYP students. He also continues to inspire as a Co-founder and Partner at KEASTONE where he returns each year in the UNYP Career Week to recruit UNYP’s best and brightest. In his own words:

“I am constantly coming back to the things I learned or relearned in the UNYP MBA program. This has allowed us to build Keastone on a much more stable strategic foundation with creative tactics, which increases our likelihood of success. And I continue to communicate with and leverage all of the bright and creative folks I’ve met along the way. The UNYP MBA program is a winner.”

All of UNYP’s former students are invited to participate in this tradition. During the nomination period, every member of the UNYP community can nominate one alumnus or alumna who has graduated from UNYP or its partner university program. The Award Committee, consisting of nine representatives from all parts of the University, then decides on a shortlist of three candidates and the eventual winner.
