UNYP is organizing Career Days in March & April 2016. Career Days contain several events taking place over a few weeks which will help prepare you for the start of your career.

First stop: Career Seminar

Date: Tuesday, 15^th of March
Time: 10am – 4pm
Where: Auditorium (-1 floor)
Who is it for: Everyone

During the seminar a professional recruiter, Michael Mayher, will teach you how to structure your CV and prepare for the interview. During a job interview it is not only you being interviewed, but it is your chance to interview the company as well. Why is that important? Join the seminar and learn how to present yourself and what questions to ask when you are in the hot seat!

Second stop: Work Permit Workshop

Date: Tuesday, 22^nd of March
Time: 4pm
Where: Classroom 201 (2^nd floor)
Who is it for: Students who need a visa to stay in the Czech Republic

A Czech employee card is a type of visa/permit which allows you to work in the Czech Republic.

If you are a student who needs a visa in order to stay in the Czech Republic, your CV and interviews could be the least of your trouble. What will you do once your student visa/permit expires and you would like to start working?

Find out what an employee card is, who needs it and how to get one! Also, when to get it, what documents you need, and what is a dual and non-dual employee card.

Last stop: Career Fair

Where: Auditorium (-1 floor) and Classroom 001
Who is it for: Everyone

Career Days culminates in the final 2-day Career Fair event. Career Fair is broken down into several events, including company presentations in Classroom 001 and companies’ stands set up in the Auditorium. Come talk to the companies, find out what kind of positions they have and what could you apply for. And of course, have your CV with you!
