UNYP’s President receives honorary Ph.D for his contribution in higher education and pioneering business

Dr. Elias Foutsis, the President of University of New York in Prague and New York College Educational Group, received two honorary doctorates at the 2013 graduation of the University of Bolton, UK, on 18 July 2013.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. George E. Holmes introduced the awarding of the honorary doctorates to Dr. Foutsis by saying: “Today we honor not only an entrepreneur, but also a pioneer in education who is the President and the owner of six global private universities, stepped fast and away forward to difficult circumstances to achieve wider participation and excellence in higher education for all.

It is extremely difficult to decide which one is more important.  Business or education; or vice versa; the one is prerequisite to the other; for a man who has so admirable contribution both to business and education.  Considering
all the above, President Foutsis is acclaimed Honorary Doctor in Business Administration and an Honorary Doctor in Education”.
