Message on the Event of December 21st

We at the University of New York in Prague are profoundly saddened by the tragedy at Charles University today.  Our hearts are heavy with grief, and we extend our deepest condolences to all those affected. In this time of immense sorrow, we want to express our unwavering solidarity with the Charles University community, offering our heartfelt sympathy and steadfast support.

In response, we at UNYP have made the decision to suspend all classes scheduled for Friday, December 22nd.

Your professors will reach out to you shortly with details regarding the rescheduling of exams and classes. Please note that your physical presence in school or Prague will not be required for these sessions. They will be conducted online, and we are committed to ensuring a seamless transition to this format.

Despite the class suspension, UNYP will remain accessible on Friday for those who wish or need to visit for any reason. We have enhanced our security measures and are prepared to take additional steps if necessary.

For those seeking support, our Counselling Center will be open on Friday 22nd from 09:00 to 18:00. Additionally, the School of Psychology is diligently working to provide resources to help you cope with this challenging situation, and we aim to share these resources with you soon.
