Snap a photo and win 25,000 CZK for your prom

Before a gauntlet of final exams in May, high school students face a kind of social exam—their prom. In front of parents, teachers and classmates, students strive to put their best foot forward in one of their first steps toward adulthood, while also getting to enjoy a great party. 

University of New York in Prague wants to celebrate this milestone and join in on the fun! This year UNYP will contribute 25,000 CZK to one lucky high school prom—enough to hire great entertainment, splurge on incredible food, or spend on whatever the students desire for their special evening.

For us, it’s not just about supporting students; it’s about inspiring creativity and maybe even a little competition. And what better way to show off your school pride than a photo contest?

Here’s what you have to do: 

• Download the logo here. 
• Take a fun photo with your fellow students in an unusual spot.
• Visibly display the UNYP logo in the photo.
• Be original! More points for creativity.
• Email the photo ples@unyp.cz by November 30, 2016.

After we’ve selected the finalists, we will post the photos on Facebook on December 6, where you can vote on your favorites until December 16. The votes and our final judgement will decide the winner. 

On Monday, December 19, we’ll announce the lucky students, who will be given a symbolic cheque by UNYP representatives at their prom. Don’t worry! The actual prize will be delivered well in advance of the festivities.
