UNYP’s Center for Advanced Behavioral Research Opens Child Learning & Development Lab!

The Child Learning & Development Lab in UNYP’s Center for Advanced Behavioral Research officially opened at Belgická 40, on December 9th, 2016, Research Group Leader and Chair of Psychology department, Edel Sanders, is leading two investigations, with pilot projects slated to run in late Spring and early Fall of 2017. 

The Child Learning & Development Lab is modeled after the two labs at the University of Cambridge in which Sanders was a member while doing her Ph.D. on-site.  Currently in the beginning stages, one study explores the social learning of kindness and the other explores ways that music and technology can aid mathematical learning.

Four students at the University of New York in Prague are members of the lab: Anastassiya Lyalko (Master’s student in Psychology), Friederike Jennifer Haag (Bachelor’s student in Psychology), Gleb Volkov (Bachelor’s student in Psychology) and Nur Farizah Binte Mohd Sedek (Bachelor’s student in Psychology).
