AB InBev Company Presentation at UNYP

The first of a series of regular visits involving large companies to UNYP, which are organized for our students and graduates  by the UNYP Career Office every semester, took place at UNYP on March 11,2015.The presentation was given by representatives of the Anheuser-Busch InBev, the leading global brewer based in Leuven, Belgium, and one of the top five consumer products companies in the world. 

Simon Pollmann, Process Lead for Collections teams,presented the company profile and strategy as well as working opportunities for our students, while Katerina Darmova, selected Talent for AB InBev Development Programme 2015 shared her experience with the students.

The presentation was special particularly because the students in their final year of study had a chance to bring and consult their CVs with the Recruitment Specialist Josef Blaho who advised them on how to improve their CVs and become more successful while applying for a job or internship. Part of the 2-hour presentation was also a business game during which teams of students could test their business and analytical skills.  

The event received a very good response from the participating students. On behalf of all the participants Adriana Hercigonja, UNYP International Economic Relations Graduate said: „The company presentation was very interesting, as well as constructive. I was able to find out more about the company, and to participate in a business game, which was very useful.“

We are pleased that all the participants actively contributed to such a successful event. And look forward to seeing all of them again at the UNYP Career Day on April the 16th, 2015, where the AB InBev will also be  present.
