Two diplomats, H.E. Mrs Michèle Pranchère-Tomassini, Ambassador of the Grand-Duche de Luxembourg to the Czech Republic, Estonia and Ukraine and Dr. Jiri Vogl, head of the department of Head of Department of Relations with International Organisations and non-member States of the Council of Europe visited UNYP and addressed our academic community about the latest developments occurring in Europe and the position and the work of the Luxembourgish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Council of Europe.

Both presentations contributed to a better understanding of some of the dilemmas that we are facing and shed light on the work that is in progress, both from the unilateral and multilateral perspectives, to put an end to the tensions generated in countries located so close to the European Union.

H.E. Mrs Michèle Pranchère-Tomassini was invited by the Model United Nations club at UNYP and Dr. Vogl’s presentation was within the framework of the regular PULSE lecture series. The guest lectures series will continue with the presence of another diplomat, on the 6 th of May, H.E. Tajammul Altaf, ambassador of Pakistan to the Czech Republic.
