UNYP Entrepreneurship Lecture Series

Albert Ballardini, currently an in-house lawyer for an UK based asset management firm, provided a seminar on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 for an audience of entrepreneurs at Wayra about the legal aspects of starting a business.  

This presentation included Albert’s own experiences in his startup efforts, and was complete with some documents for participants to look through, including a founders agreement, term sheets, letter of intents, and contracts for services.  Albert also discussed organizational options and the protection of intellectual property. 

Albert is responsible for handling all legal and finance matters for the holding company and it’s subsidiaries, either in the UK or in other European Countries.  Previously, Albert worked for over 3 years in a London niche law firm specializing in international cross border legal matters. 

Members of the audience included Wayra startup representatives and UNYP staff/students, both at Wayra and online.  UNYP and Wayra wish to thank Albert Ballardini for his time and expertise, and bringing his ideas to the UNYP Entrepreneurship Center.
